Crossroads' main hall provides ample seating options for conversation and entertainment in a bright hall which welcomes people from all walks of life. Do you own or work at a venue on Aether?
Drop your card in Karilan's Discord DMs and we'll work on sneaking in for a visit. This can be a lengthy process which includes multiple anonymous visits to ensure a consistent experience for guests. If you have any questions, just reach out to Karilan!

What is a Crossroads Venue Grant?
Our grant is a lump sum of 3 million gil to help alleviate the cost of getting a venue started. This is not a loan or a pre-emptive handout but meant to reimburse those who have already taken the first steps towards opening a venue.


Who is eligible to apply?
Anyone with a plan to open a venue on Aether which includes borrowing space from someone else if you are not an Aether native. Grants can be received by the same person only once per year and only for new venue concepts.


How can you apply for a grant?
Simply join Crossroads Conversation's community Discord server and contact Karilan indicating your interest in applying for a venue grant. See below for our suggestions on improving your chances of receiving a grant!

Suggestions To Include In Your Application:

Starting a venue can be daunting. We’re here to help point out a few factors to get you started. Exploring each avenue will not only increase your chance of earning a Crossroads grant but also set you up for success in running your new venue.


~ Have a space reserved. This doesn't have to be a house. An apartment or FC room makes a fabulous first venue!~ Have a direction for your decor. This can be as simple as a theme, a written description of the space you'd like to create, or as elaborate as a pre-planned layout or even a fully decorated room already ready to go!~ Build your 'business card'. While carrd is the most commonly used there are plenty of other options out there. Having a business card with an introduction, rules, and a menu if applicable gives potential patrons a great idea of what to expect before they walk in the door.~ Proof of commitment. Have you tried opening already? Show us your Party Finder advertisement! Give us photos of your first patrons enjoying the space (with their permission). Tell us how you plan to maintain a representation of RP in your space.

At Crossroads we appreciate your support whether big or small, financial or conversational.
Should you wish to show appreciation and support for the venue there are several ways you can do so:- Approach and engage with newer members of the community- Tip your servers and staff! Anyone with a green tag is designated staff inside the lounge.- A dutiful vendor outside the venue sells orchestrion rolls priced charitably to support the venue.
